Includes data representation, research summaries, and conflicting viewpoints. Students can choose to take this section or skip it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Writing<\/strong>&nbsp;(Optional):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Number of Questions<\/strong>: 1 prompt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time<\/strong>: 40 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Content<\/strong>: Requires students to write an essay analyzing a given issue and presenting a reasoned argument. The essay is optional and will not affect the composite score if not taken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No Adaptive Testing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ACT does not have adaptive testing in the same way as the SAT.
