At Talent Boost, our goal is to unveil students’ unique qualities and strengths, presenting admission officers with memorable personal stories and well-rounded activity lists that showcase purposeful academic trajectories. The I.M.P.A.C.T Approach

The I.M.P.A.C.T. approach is Talent Boost’s signature and innovative method for evaluating and enhancing students’ backgrounds and college applications. Students are assessed on a 5-point scale across six criteria to boost their competitiveness in college admissions. The acronym I.M.P.A.C.T. stands for Intellectual Curiosity, Motivation, Persistence, Action, Creativity, and Traits.

Initiation

At the beginning of the program, students conduct a self-evaluation.

Development

Throughout the program, students’ progress is regularly updated and measured.

Completion

At the end of the program, students receive a final report with a projected outcome.

Steps to Success

Review the student’s academic history, extracurricular activities, and personal achievements.

Create a detailed profile highlighting the student’s strengths, interests, and goals.

Identify and develop key areas in the student’s portfolio to make it more compelling.

Compile a list of potential colleges that align with the student’s profile and aspirations.

Draft and refine activitiy list and application essay on Common App.

Collect necessary application documents such as transcripts, test scores and recommendation letters.

Submit completed applications to chosen colleges before deadlines.

Prepare for and practice college interviews to make a strong impression.

Track the progress of submitted applications and follow up with colleges as needed.

Review acceptance letters, and make informed decisions about which offers to accept.
